About The Vivos Institute®
Redefining Patient Care Through Sleep and Airway Health
Sleep-related breathing disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), affect millions worldwide—many of whom remain undiagnosed. Left untreated, these conditions can lead to serious health consequences, from cardiovascular disease to impaired cognitive function.
Dentists and healthcare providers are uniquely positioned to change this. Through world-class education and innovative treatment solutions, The Vivos Institute equips professionals to make sleep and airway medicine a cornerstone of their practice.
At The Vivos Institute, our structured educational pathway guides providers from foundational knowledge to advanced expertise, ensuring sustainable practice growth and improved patient outcomes. Every participant gains essential knowledge and hands-on skills to diagnose, treat, and manage sleep-related breathing disorders and craniofacial development issues.
Our 4-part foundational Mastery Program includes:
Introduction to Sleep and Airway Medicine: A Proven Path from Knowledge to Implementation – The foundation for understanding sleep-related breathing disorders and integrating airway-focused care into practice.
Advanced Sleep and Airway Medicine: Comprehensive CARE I – Hands-on training in airway diagnostics and treatment for adults and children.
Advanced Sleep and Airway Medicine: Comprehensive CARE II – Builds on CARE I with advanced techniques, complex case management, and integration of Vivos® technology.
Guided Growth and Development – Focused on early craniofacial development and airway health for young patients (ages 3–12).
All courses are developed by our Academic Advisory and Curriculum Committee to ensure research-backed, clinically relevant education that enhances outcomes and supports long-term practice success.
Our offerings extend beyond the core Mastery Program. We host the Annual Buteyko Breathing Method Conference, presented by internationally recognized breathwork expert Patrick McKeown, as well as our premier Frenectomy and Tongue Tie course.
We also provide advanced training in Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD), Myofunctional Therapy, and more—ensuring providers are prepared to address every aspect of airway-related care.
