Program Highlights

Unlock the power of airway screening in your hygiene appointments and learn to spot the signs of airway and sleep issues during hygiene visits! This webinar empowers dental teams to screen confidently, communicate clearly, and guide patients toward life-changing care.

  • Communication and Team Alignment
Learn the importance of implementing consistent verbiage across the team (admin, hygienists, assistants, doctors), especially when reinforcing patient understanding.

  • Identify Clinical Signs in Adults
Discover how to spot visible indicators of airway issues, such as: clenching/grinding and occlusal wear, a vaulted palate, dark buccal corridors, retrognathic mandible (small chin), and more.

  • Pediatric Screening
Gain knowledge on what to look for when conducting a pediatric screening, such as: sucking habits (thumb, fingers, blankets), tongue ties or other tethered oral tissues, and additional child-specific warning signs.

  • Diagnostic Aids and Tools
Learn to use intraoral scans, photos, CBCT, and visual comparisons (e.g., palatal width), and before-and-after visuals. Help to educate patients by using simple analogies (e.g., airflow and garden hose, tongue as scaffolding) to explain their condition.
