Through clinical instruction, live demonstration, and supervised hands-on practice, you'll learn how this technique may be used to address airway patency, ocular mobility, jaw mechanics, and cranial functionāwith specific applications to concussion recovery and post-traumatic neurological symptoms.
From patient intake and contraindication screening to assessment, treatment, and post-treatment reassessment, this course provides a comprehensive introduction to incorporating NRT into clinical practice. Registration includes the NRT kit used during the hands-on portion of the course, giving participants the tools to practice the technique during training and beyond.

identify appropriate candidates, perform NRT using the Stober method, and evaluate changes following treatment.
Learn the history, anatomical basis, and clinical rationale behind Nasal Release Technique, including how addressing structural restrictions of the nasopharynx may influence airway patency, ocular mobility, jaw mechanics, and cranial function.
Learn how to evaluate facial structure, nasal passage restrictions, and extra-ocular eye movements in relation to neck, jaw, and tongue function. You'll also be introduced to objective airway assessment using the Peak Nasal Inspiratory Flow (PNIF) Meter.
